Just an FYI.
All rezoning meetings and things have been postponed for a 120 days.
They are working on a mandate for rezoning for such things as this.
It will include things like nursing homes, drug rehabs, etc.
Do you know of any towns that have been successful in keeping
Narconon out of their communities?
Someone discovered that everytime that Narconon has filed a lawsuit
to open their facilty, they won. We want to avoid any type of
lawsuit. On what grounds due they sue if they keep claiming that
are not part of the Church of Scientology?
This has nothing to do with religion - no one wants their drug rehab
in the community. There are other organizations that help with drug
treatment and some medical insurance cover care for drug rehab. I
know my insurance provides help but not to a place like Narconon.
Any advice to help with the mandate?
Do you live in California?
One of the commissioners said he was getting phone calls from all
over and as far away as California.
Thanks!
